My book launch for WHAT THE MONSOON KNOWS was held in Murwillumbah in northern NSW. It was a fun day, where 75 friends arrived to show their support of my esteems. Those that couldn't make it on the day purchased my book too. Old friends from Cronulla where I grew up in Sydney, now living within 100km or so of the venue, made a show and teacher friends from two schools, and pals from the region itself, enjoyed the food and booze I put on. I had a PowerPoint which ran to 74 slides on the history of the book, running above my signing desk. The speech was enjoyable, where I thanked those there on the day, while allowing for a Q&A. Some fun questions arrived. It was a big day for me and while I was exhausted when it ended, it was such a worthwhile day in all.
